Who We Are

A Local Chapter
With a Big Mission

Huntsville AMBUCS TN Valley, established in 2009, is a local chapter of the national AMBUCS organization — a nonprofit dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities through the gift of the AmTryke adaptive tricycle.

We are entirely volunteer-run. Every dollar raised goes directly toward purchasing, evaluating, and delivering custom-fitted AmTrykes to children and adults in the Huntsville TN Valley area who could not otherwise afford them.

Our members are your neighbors — local professionals, parents, retirees, and community leaders who believe that mobility is a right, not a privilege.

Part of a National Movement

AMBUCS is a national nonprofit organization with chapters across the United States. Founded in 1922, AMBUCS has a century-long history of service — and the AmTryke program is one of its most impactful initiatives.

As a local chapter, we benefit from the national organization's resources, training, and AmTryke supply chain — while staying deeply rooted in our Huntsville TN Valley community. The national AMBUCS organization has donated over 30,000 AmTrykes nationwide.
